Går det att fixa utan originalsim?

Dottern har uppgraderat till 2.2 och sen fungerar naturligtvis ingenting och kopplar man iphonen till datorn och Itunes så vill den ha originalsim. Min fråga är (kan absolut ingenting) Måste man ha orignalsim eller går det att lösa ändå. Har PC. Finns det någon snäll själ som kan guida mig i forumet till någon tidigare lämnad instruktion eller någon som kan ge mig en idiotförklaring. Ser just nu ingen annan lösning än att köpa ny telefon till henne.......

Vilken iphone är det? iphone 2G? 3G?

Ja visst det är en 2G. Jag har försökt enl den länk du lämnade men problemet är att vi kommer inte längre än till Step2 där vi ska öppna Itunes. Då är de stopp eftersom man måste ha ett originalsim dvs nu stämmer inte guiden längre utan Itunes är låst och jag kommer inte åt restore funktionen.

Jag har löst problemet. Hittade en jättebra film på youtube som gjorde att jag fattade hur jag skulle göra. Slutet gott allt gott och dottern glad.
