Since iPhone is only sold with postpaid contract in Sweden (as far as I know), can foreigners get an iPhone in Sweden?
I am here as a student for a few yrs, but would love to get an iPhone. Is it possible? I was told that I need a Swedish ID to sign up for any postpaid contract.
Thanks for your help. And sorry if I am not follow any of the forum rules, I don’t understand swedish yet. :$

Well, you can always buy one if you pay cash, 5600 för the 16Gb version at a telia store.
the problem is with the abb., I’ts no use to have a prepaid one, since there are so bad datatrafficrate and cost on those.
But if you visit a store they can surely advice you how to do.
If you will be here for a few years, then you need some kind of adress and you might even get a id that works in sweden. Maybe you need someone who can be some kind of garant for the accountThanks!
I have found out about this. I need to be in Sweden for 8 months and a Swedish ID to get an iPhone.
I think I will get an unlocked phone from Honk Kong. Now, I am guessing I will have to use a pre-paid plan for a few months. Which is the best pre-paid plan for using with an iPhone. I will probably end up using mostly data and very little voice.
Thanks and Njoy!!
